Music therapy is used by a licensed physician, in which music is routinely used to achieve therapeutic goals or purposes. These goals or objectives may include self-awareness, social development, cognitive development and spiritual power. Therefore, music therapy helps in achieving physical, mental, communicative and social care. The future of music therapy is very promising because the level of efficiency achieved in the therapeutic use of music is high.
Music therapy helps a lot in the growth of people of different backgrounds and abilities. It is very useful as a treatment for children with special needs and promotes the development of communication, social physical, cognitive, and every day. In a hospital, music therapy is used to improve motor functions and neurological or relax patients, reduce pain and facilitate rehabilitation. Music therapy in a psychiatric facility used by patients to identify and resolve conflicts, improve their self-esteem, explore and express their feelings and practice to solve problems, make clear decisions or large, improve cooperation between the personal skills, increased motivation and decreased inappropriate behavior. Social objectives to meet needs such as building relationships, increasing social participation, peer interaction, eye contact, increasing the response to verbal and nonverbal, maintain and improve interpersonal skills and may improve the behavior of the group.
