Drum Tips - Dealing With Hype "Creep"

Bombo creep does not refer to such fear the hype is the term used to describe the situation of frustration when the hype begins to fall farther and farther from you every time the bass drum pedal.

Setting up your computer on a thick carpet or rug good, which ends at the end of your legs kicking to biting in aid in general, keeping away the hype flow. (If the drum legs have no points, replace those that do. Any decent drum workshop drum legs carry spare at a reasonable price.)

Make sure your rug is large enough to keep your entire team, including his throne. The weight of his body in the throne will help keep the hype to slide the stack.

Adjust the bass drum foot so that the front of the drum of an inch or two above ground and supported on the drum at a slight angle. This shifts more weight on the legs of the drums and plugs for self-help dig deeper, that would stop most of the problems creep bass drum.

Sometimes, especially for those of us kick in difficult security situations, placed on a carpet is not enough!

Here's a trick that ends in just over drum flow problems.

Take a three-meter long and 2 "x4" piece of wood. I have some pretty fabric wrapped around him to make nice, offer some protection for the battery, and to avoid splinters. Now select your carpet where you want the front of your bass drum to sit. Drill three holes a quarter inch in diameter through the woods - a hole in the middle and one near each end.

Need a great, great, 2 inch and 1 / 4 inch thick bolts - actually bolt the wood to your edge of your bass drum pad. Be sure to set the flattest part of the bolt on the underside of the carpet, so your carpet last quite flat. I would also put a layer or two of tape on the end of the rod so as not to scratch some hardwood floors of Nice, which is under the carpet.

Now that you've created just slide the front of the bass drum firmly against the piece of wood that you bolted to the cover, and it does not slip again!

It works best if you get the wood is wide enough to walk away from a collision with the case, although it works well with the drum against the case pencil circle - Just be sure to cover the wood with foam or a thick cloth to prevent against the wood to his drum circle and the fins!

Let me know how it works for you.
