Musicians have long been playing the violin Appalachian music for years, but not until 1927 in Bristol, Tennessee, that the first recording of country music recording contract signing. This year, Victor Records signed Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family.
Jimmie Rodgers was born in Meridian, Mississippi in 1897. Originally, he worked on the railways until his health was right and what is it that during this time, he followed his former love entertaining. In 1927, he followed word that Victor Records was to create a portable recording studio and made his way. He was immediately signed and continued to record and play music until his death in 1933.
In 1965 he was one of the first musicians to be added to the Hall of Fame Country Music in 1961 with Hank Williams and Fred Rose. The same day, as Jimmie Rodgers Victor signed with the label, like the Carter family, who became one of the most famous bands in the country of all time. They stayed with the Victor until 1936. Even the divorce could separate the band and if he continued to record for Decca until 1939. Things began to hit hard times at this stage and despite the signing of Universal and possibly again Victor Records, the band split in 1941.
It is widely acknowledged that the big day in 1927 was the introduction of the country to the rest of the country. Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family were met on a huge critical success and became very popular to sell a lot of books. country music singers and bands today often talk about the Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers to be their great influence and a very good reason.
